Major Attractions
The Carrefour de la Mer Caraquet's harbour area is in itself a major tourist attraction. The Carrefour de la mer, located between the New Brunswick Community College and the harbour facilities, at walking distance from the fish processing plants, is a tourist center. An 18-hole mini-golf course is located on the site. Young and young at heart will enjoy it.
Donat Lacroix's Le Bot' à Chansons You will be rocked to the sound of folklore and songs relating the stories of the sea in a warm and intimate atmosphere on board the "Jos-Frédric". No need to have sea legs. You will have a great view of the Caraquet Bay and its harbour. The show goes on, rain or shine. The captain and its crew have equipped the boat for their guests: the deck has a cloth shelter that can also protect people from the cold sea breeze. For information: (506) 726-2676. Alpha Nautique Alpha Nautique is a wakeboard, water ski, and wakeskate school located in Caraquet NB, near the Carrefour de la Mer. You can also enjoy a little Wakesurf, two individual inflatable tubes, and a six place inflatable tube called "Banana Boat". Alpha Nautique is a member of Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada, and has nationnaly certified instructors. For reservation, please call 506-724-0553. The beaches Besides the downtown beach, many can be found in Caraquet's greater region, from Caraquet to Grande-Anse, without forgetting Anse-Bleue, Maisonnette and Bas-Caraquet.
The Musée Acadien
The Musée acadien, founded in the middle of the 1960s, has an important collection of documents collected from families of the region. Every Summer, we can also see a new exhibition relating to the Acadian Peninsula's heritage.
L'Éco-Musée de l'huître

Founded in 1974, in Caraquet, the Théâtre populaire d'Acadie is the first French language touring professional theatre company in the Maritimes. Geared for adult and yound audiences, this theatre company has produced and performed more than eighty plays in twenty-four years in the Maritime Provinces francophone regions. Using local authors, contemporary plays and original scripts, this creative company offers its audiences a variety of plays to fit their taste. The Sainte-Anne-du-Bocage Sanctuary
 In Ste-Anne-du-Bocage, we can meditate in a beautiful sanctuary where the satue of Alexis Landry, considered as the real founder of Caraquet, is erected. The little Ste-Anne chapel was built around 1840 and we can still visit it.

Maison de la culture chrétienne

Multipurpose trail
A 130 km trail network is located in the Acadian Peninsula. Rest areas have been installed every 10 km. Furthermore, picnic tables are located alongside the trail. The trail can be used all year long. It can be used for bicycle riding, jogging or walking. In winter, snowmobiling is allowed in some places.
The Village historique acadien
Located near Caraquet, the Village historique acadien, vividly depicts the life of Acadians between 1770 and 1939, becoming one of the province's main attractions. Every morning, more than 80 actors put on costumes from yesteryear and live like Acadians did back then for visitors on a beautiful natural site.
Shippagan's Aquarium and Marine Centre
Located approximately 30 minutes from Caraquet, the Aquarium and Marine Centre lets you explore fascinating marine species from the Gulf of St Lawrence. The gorgeous aquariums and the seal tank of this marine research center will enlighten all members of the family.

Grande-Anse's Popes' Museum Located approximately 20 minutes from Caraquet, the Popes' Museum brings you back through the years and lets you discover the personalities that highlighted the history of the Roman Catholic religion. The Museum offers a permanent collection, as well as several traveling exhibits. The Pokemouche Golf Club 
Located in the center of the Acadian Peninsula, approximately 15 minutes from Caraquet, this 18-hole golf course offers equipment rental services as well as training classes with a golf pro. The course is not easy and many tournaments are organized every summer in an extraordinary decor.
Underwater diving club (Les Oursins de l'Anse-Bleue) Great premises with terrace and view on the Chaleurs Bay for a warm welcome. Our Club offers you refill, sea outings and diving guide services on request. The Bas-Caraquet Beauport Marina  The Marina is pleased to welcome you in new surroundings. The Bas-Caraquet marina offers a variety of services for vacationers, tourists and pleasure boat owners. It has 20 campsites located near the sea, 110 ferry docks with fuel and diesel service for pleasure boats, an excellent licensed restaurant (lunch specials and seafood specialties) and a cozy bar-terrace with a view on the ferry dock.
